This week we are introducing Maryanna Fiero-Forman, who believes in natural healing, especially for life’s little ailments, although we can help the larger ones too.
She grew up on a farm in Brooklyn, NY. For those of you that are unfamiliar, people refer to that as the City. Maryanna never thought of it that way. As she says, she had an amazing upbringing, close to nature a lot of natural remedies.
Maryanna graduated from college with a BS in Oceanography and a minor in Journalism and editor of the college paper. She thought she was going to be the next Jacques Cousteau. However, she ended up in retail, medical, and more recently a brick-and-mortar storefront owner, All Star Trophy in Toms River, NJ, which she closed at the end of 2020 due to Covid.
She is a certified Aromatherapist and now a Sommelier (tea specialist) adding those healing herbs to her repertoire.
Hippocrates once spoke of the healing herbs and how drinking a cup of tea might be the fastest and most effective way to obtain the benefits. After all, the Chamomile that you use to calm can also help fight infections. And the spicy tea that you adore may also help with inflammation and antioxidant protection.
